• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
    If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

MySQL Error during Backup

New Pleskian
Hi

i got an error during daily backups within plesk from one database table:

Not all the data was backed up into...mysqldump: Got error: 23: Out of resources when opening file...
(Errcode: 24) when using LOCK TABLES

Does anyone have a solution?

I have add this but get the same message after next backup. Is there a way to add --single-transaction to mysqldump config?

Check output of following command:

# mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa -e "SHOW VARIABLES LIKE 'Open_files_limit';"

And increase open files limit in /etc/my.cnf with adding entry like

open_files_limit = 8196

After that restart mysql service and check limit with first command again.
