  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Mysql Failed to set up SSL

Antrax1

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I Have this error in a new server:

[Warning] Failed to set up SSL because of the following SSL library error: SSL context is not usable without certificate and private key

Ubuntu: 16.04
Mysql: 5.7.16-0ubuntu0.16.04.1
Plesk 17.0.17 #5

Hi Antrax1,

this is a WARNING and not any error message.

Setting up MySQL to use only SSL - connections is an OPTIONAL feature and needs ( manual ) additional configuration in your "my.cnf". Pls. have a look at your configuration file and paste the lines AFTER:
Code:
# * Security Features
#
# Read the manual, too, if you want chroot!
# chroot = /var/lib/mysql/
#
# For generating SSL certificates I recommend the OpenSSL GUI "tinyca".
...for further investigations and possible suggestions.
