• Debian 11 has reached its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.81 is the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

We have made the plunge and switch our customers over to Plesk and have almost everything running 100% except for us.

We have a Java chat program that we use along with MySQL that has been working flawlessly until we switched systems. When trying to start the script up we get the following error:

java.sql.SQLException: Syntax error or access violation message from server: "Access denied for user 'digital_chatman'@'localhost.localdomain' to database 'digital_groopz'"

From the command line in SSH I can connect to the database with the information set within the login scripts.

The program folder is located outside of httpdocs within our domain folder.

What is causing me denial for this script? Been spending about 8 hours and I'm all out of tricks.
