• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

MySQL password

Hi all, I'm new in this forum.

I've a problem with mySQL and Plesk.

Some days ago I tried to authenticate via MySQL the 'admin' user using the plesk password, by I got the access denied error.

So, using the "skip-grant-tables" parameter, I changed the admin password to a new one.

From that time I can't manage my databases using the plesk interface, because it can't connect to mysql, I get the error "Try to establish connection failed".
I tried to set the mysql password to the current plesk password, but the error doesn't change.

What can I do?
Why couldn't I authenticate the admin user initially?

Thanks

I resolved the issue.
I've changed mysql admin password from plesk: server > database server.

Thanks
