• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Native IPv6/AAAA DNS Records

I know IPv6 is far from completely being deployed. However, I do have clients that want hostnames from their domains to resolve to IPv6 hostnames (primarily for reverse-dns reasons). I've found a way to make it possible, but it requires that I manually edit the MySQL Database each time I update, as Plesk restores the db to it's basic setup each time an update is processed.

I'd like to ask SW-Soft to enable the ability to have all standard types of dns records included in the dns features. This will allow my AAAA (IPv6 Forwarding Resolutions), as well as other possibly currently blocked features of bind to be utilized.

Thanks.
