  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.
  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.

Need plesk to send to internal spam proxy

mparadis

Regular Pleskian
I have a spam proxy as a stand alone server at the top of my network.
All email into the network flows through that then on to the MTA.
It has reporting which I'd like to use which means I want to allow users to send spam/notspam messages to the proxy.

Problem is, I can't seem to find a way of getting plesk to send emails to a server internally?

I've tried putting it in the hosts file, I've tried putting it into the whitelist, nada.
I've tried creating a new sub-domain and setting it's DNS on plesk to the internal IP on the network and still plesk doesn't see the it and can't/won't send to it.

How can I tell plesk to send emails to an internal server?

Mike
