• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Hello,

On my wondows 2003 server the mysql server stopped working, all my sites was down and went to services to find the mysql was stopped, so I re-started it and it would just shut down again and again..So we un-installed it and downloaded another mysql ver. however now the databases wont work right, I need to kow how to re-install the mysql that was there with plesk and do it the right way lol

I see a FEW mysql files in the install folder in plesk (program files -> swsoft -> plesk -> install)

However as I said I need to know the steps to do this as I am not that well with mysql but can follow steps. If anyone has the info please share it with me...

It oughtta function like so (I've used similar methods to fix other issues, like MailEnable and Webmail):

Control Panel > Add/Remove > Plesk > Change > uncheck "mysql", install

After it's done you'll probably have to reboot.

Then go back in and reinstall by checking the same box.
