Frank.P

Regular Pleskian
Perl and Phyton isn't installed and directory wasn't created in C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Additional

¿How can I install Perl and Python?

Hi Javier P.

please consider to read: http://docs.plesk.com/release-notes/12.5/software-requirements/

... where you will find as well:
Supported Third-Party Components
...
Windows
This is a shortened list of supported third-party components. It does not include the components supplied with the Plesk distribution, as they were already mentioned as distributed and supported.
...
Web scripting
  1. ActiveState Perl 5.10.1
  2. ActiveState Python 2.6.5
  3. ASP
  4. ASP.NET 1.1-4.5
  5. MIVA Empresa 5.06
...
As you now can see, you are able to install at least ActiveState Perl 5.10.1 and ActiveState Python 2.6.5.

Hi
New installation of Plesk 12.5 for windows, and there's no support for python or perl.
tried to follow the above instructions, it looks like the new free versions of Activestate are not meant to use for commerical webhosting (see attached image), unless ODIN has some agreement with Activestate.
I cant find the older versions 5.10 and 2.6.
What version of ActivePerl Can I Use with Plesk 12.5 ? ( http://www.activestate.com/languages/compare-editions )
is there any free alternative for ActiveState Perl/Python ?
Thanks

I am also wondering if there is a free or less expensive alternative for ActiveState Perl/Python to install modules of Perl with Plesk Onyx?
