no logging for smtp_auth

Hello,

Due to reports that spam is send over my server i need to know who has done smtp_auth. The server isn't an open relay (smtp_auth and smtp after pop is configured and works). Unfortunately i have no logfile entries for smtp_auth. I searched google for enabling logging for smtp_auth in qmail (espesally with plesk) but find nothing that match my problem. So can anyone tell me how to enable this? I'm not so involved to qmail (normaly i prefer postfix).

Regards,
Markus

Are you sure you're looking in the right place? My log is here:

/usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog

I was having a similar problem. For me, the fix was to go into Plesk and then Server > Mail and to select the option "Only use of full POP3/IMAP mail accounts names is allowed." There are more details about the issue here:
