• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue No longer can connect to server via SSH/FTP after an error while updating plesk

Davit S

New Pleskian
Hi there.

We can no longer connect to our server via SSH/FTP, it says "Connection closed by IP ADDRESS"...

We detected the strange line in update logs, while it tried to make update.

It says
"Checking whether the package dependencies are resolved.
Installing packages
E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

ERROR: An error occurred on attempt to install packages.
Attention! Your software might be inoperable.
Please contact product technical support."

We think it could be the cause/related why we can't connect via SSH/FTP.

Any Ideas?

Thank you very much.
