No migration agents found

Hi

I'm trying to migrate servers, but I keep getting the error message "No migration agents found".

Both servers are Fedora 8, with Plesk 9.2.3.

I installed the migration manager on both servers, then tried to run the migration manager, but I got the error message.

There are no other warnings or error messages.

I have tried synchronizing the migration manager for each server and for each one I got the message "Migration agent was synchronized successfully."

I have also tried rebooting the new server (the server that I am migrating to).

Please can you help?

Try to find any agent related errors in /usr/local/psa/PMM/logs/migration_handler.log or /usr/local/psa/PMM/logs/migration.log

Hi,
I have roughly the same problem. I'm administering two Linux boxes (Centos) running Plesk 9.2.3, and I have to migrate some domains from A to B. The problem is that in box A I don't even have the icon for the "Migration Manager".

The rpms are installed, but still no icon.

When running the Migration Manager from box B, fails as per your message.

As you can see platform should be detected correctly there. Do you have platform detection section in logs?

no - I don't have any lines like that.

As you can see from my full log, this is the error that I get:

The machine that has the data that I need to migrate does not even have a "Migration Manager" icon, but does have the rpms.

No. I checked both migration.log and migration_handler.log, and searched for "MigrationGetObjectsListAction" and "Platform detected". I couldn't find either of these search terms in either file.
 
Try to reinstall PMM packages with force.

Please can you tell me how to do this? The Plesk interface just tells me that PMM is installed and that I have the latest version. The checkbox to select it is disabled. (I'm looking in Home > Updates > Parallels Plesk Panel 9.2.3 Components.) There doesn't seem to be any option to uninstall it, reinstall it, change preferences or anything else.

I did this, but it made no difference. When I ran the migration manager it hit the same problem again.
 
Same for me. Uninstalled and reinstalled the rpms and nothing changed.
 
Same thing here trying migration from plesk 8.1 to 9.5.2.

I didn't. I stopped trying to use Migration Manager and moved everything manually.
 
Plesk 9.3 data migration cpannel problem

Just as fran@ reported, the problems seems to be only on Plesk 9.3

I tried checking an none of the KB issues corresponding to this are affecting it:

Problem: I cannot upgrade from 9.3, my license crossed the one year upgrade, and i would still like to be able to use my Plesk.
