• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Node.js without the Node.js Extension

Peter Carlsson

Basic Pleskian
Hi,

I really like the Node.js extension where i can install npm but i need to be able to run apps without an Application Startup File so i guess i have to go with an server installed Node.js?

I also guess i need to install pm2 and somehow run it as the specific customer in order to get all permissions right upon npm install right?

It would be great if i could run npm install and pm2 restart upon running the git extension but i never got that working. I guess this also has something with the correct customers permissions?

Can someone please guide me?

Do you mean Plesk license? In this case, I would suggest you contact Plesk Support Team.
