Resolved Not possible to enter the key for onix and no login

    Hello,
    I made the update to onyx ...
    After this update there was no login possible:
    you need a guilty license key!

    i tried to enter the license key for onyx - next:
    ERROR: Call to undefined function demo_version() (FileServerStatus.php:15)

    I tried the tipps from the knowledge base: made an new registry.xml - no success
    I copied the original back
    I tried the chmod commands from the knowledge base - no success

    in the next step i did the repair installation:
    plesk repair installation -v :
    **** Product repair completed successfully.
    i tried to enter the license key again:
    ERROR: Call to undefined function demo_version() (FileServerStatus.php:15)
    next step: I tried a rollback to the old version:
    Error: your key bevor is not guilty
    i tried to load the old license-keyfile: not guilty
    i checked the installation with plesk repair all -n
    there is 1 error: The NS configuration file '/var/named/run-root/etc/named.conf' is absent
    I think this is not an error from the installation.

    I tried the repair installation a second time - nothing was changed, all successfully
    in the logfile plesk_17.0.17_installation.log is no problem, just successfully
    in the logfile plesk_17.0.17_repair.log all records are done, ok, started, running and repair finished

    so i have no error in the installation/repair, but i can't insert the licensekey
    and i can't login to the panel to create a new customer!!!

    any idea?

    Hi Steiger,

    the most essential question is: FROM WHOM did you purchase the license? And is there a reason why you don't contact the Plesk sales partner, when you experience issues with the key?

    You either received a "key.xml" - file, or/and a Plesk - "activation code", when both of the following commands results in an error, you definetly should contact the Plesk sales partner and ask for assistance.

    plesk bin license -i key.xml

    plesk bin license -i AB1C23-4DEF56-7GHI89-JK1L23-MNP456

    I got an ativitioncode A00...... from 1blu.de
    i tried
    plesk bin license -i A00....
    answer:
    PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function demo_version() in /opt/psa/admin/plib/modules/fileserver/FileServerStatus.php on line 15
    Error occured while sending feedback. HTTP code returned: 502
    exit status 255

    I have no directory /modules in /opt/psa/admin/plib/

    Msg from 1blu: The problem was the fileserver.
    they installed the fileserver (was missed after update) and the licensenumber was accepted.
