  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Odin anti-virus memory usage

Chris1

Regular Pleskian
I'm just wondering whether this is normal as I feel its memory footprint is quite high. I just activated the Odin anti-virus a couple of days ago and I see it has two drweb processes running (as per top output) with a combined memory usage of about 500MB.

This server isn't a production server yet and there wouldn't be any mail flowing through. Is 500MB memory normal for the Odin anti-virus?

Also, I noticed that the anti-virus isn't activated for all email accounts by default. Is this normal? Can it be changed?
