• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Older .net Versions

Basic Pleskian
ASP.net 2.0 and 4.0 were installed, and Plesk picked them up just fine and displays them as options under the Service Plan configuration tool.

Discovered that many customers we are migrating to the Plesk box utilize ASP.net 1.1.

So I installed .Net 1.1 (and SP1) on the Plesk box, went through the processes to enable it.

However, Plesk is NOT picking up that it is available.

Is there something I need to configure within Plesk to detect the new (well old ) version of .Net that is now
available on the Box ?

Thank you!

I think I answered my own question... sort of...

1.1 is NOT necessary to be installed since 2.0 will automatically handle 1.1 sites just fine.
