• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Question Password reset (Via e-mail) not possible?

Nico007

New Pleskian
Hello,

I cant reset my password on a plesk server. Is there anything i can do to change that? Are there any certain steps or rules i have to follow in order to make it work?

I am talking about the password reset via e-mail.

Thank you,
Kind Regards!

To change the Plesk administrator’s password to mypassword:

# plesk bin admin --set-admin-password -passwd 'mypassword' -encrypted-password

or

# plesk bin admin --set-password -passwd 'mypassword' -encrypted-password

Can You please write more info how to do it. I have the same situation, I can't log in neither with Plesk window nor ssh, the only way I can log in is with FileZilla. Please help me. Yesterday everything was ok, today no.
