Resolved Performance Booster and MariaDB 11.4

seqoi

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
AlmaLinux 9.5
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.65
I just set up a new server on AlmaLinux 9.5. Everything seems to be dandy. Still have not added any customers, so no domains no databases either. I was scouting through some of the settings and noticed this (see my screenshot).

Is this normal behavior? Not a trouble for me, alternatively I'll use MySQLtuner anyway. But was wondering if is this normal behavior or if should I look into it. I analyzed the Obsidian changelog and it says MariaDB 11.4 is fully supported. Usually, if some feature isn't supported then the Plesk mentions it. This made me question whether am I supposed to check my configuration or if this is an upcoming feature. Or perhaps this is because there's no tenants yet?

Yes. You may have missed it, because it's inside a thread that's related to MariaDB, but not specific to MariaDB 11.4.* - It was first mentioned here:

There's no need to look into it as Plesk are well aware of it

Artistic / Poetic License - Depends on what perspective you're looking from

Indeed. This one is conspicuous by it's absence
This made me question whether am I supposed to check my configuration or if this is an upcoming feature. Or perhaps this is because there's no tenants yet?
Nope. We all just need to wait for Plesk to "fully" support MariaDB 11.4.* and it will be fine.

For crying out loud I think I am getting old. How do I change the thread from yellow "issue" to green "resolved"?

@seqoi Forgot to post it and you will no doubt have already noticed and / or utilised this by now, but, as of the 18.0.66 release, the wait is over and Plesk's Performance Booster functionality does support MariaDB 11.4.*

Thanks, I appreciate it. I didn't know, I am still on 18.0.65. The good news while enjoying morning coffee always lands nicely.

Have a great day.
