permission denied, uploading to folder /etc/php.ini

hi everyone,
im a bit of newbie,
ii am using fedora, i have made some changes to my php.ini which i had downloaded using my root user and pass, the root access allows me to download data but not upload data.
i get an error stating permission denied when i try to upload this file(php.ini).

i have shown screenshot of the full error code below.

pls help if u can

I don't know what you tried exactly, but you could just use ssh to login to your server and then edit the file. Don't forget to reload apache after editing php.ini.
