Question Permission denied /var/qmail/mailnames

Paul Creedy

Basic Pleskian
As part of my ongoing saga Issue - Migration issue to get emails imported from cpanel to plesk, I've come across the mail location at var/qmail/mailnames/ which reading some other forum posts appears to be the same folder structure as my cpanel email folders; and plesk users copying those files to their plesk installation.

However when I ssh in I can get as far as var/qmail/mailnames/ but cannot get into the domains email address inside that folder.

-bash: cd: exampledomain.co.uk: Permission denied

Do I need to elevate the permission somehow to get into that folder? If so how would I do that, and how would I put the permission back afterwards?
