  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

For the record, Plesk Forums are generally oriented towards a community-based approach to support issues. The forums are not really officially support channels in the same sense as a Plesk support ticket which specifically focuses on your unique setup while the forums tend to be supported by volunteer knowledge although it's nice that there are some Plesky folks such as Igor who are active threads. Sometimes scenarios need a second look from a Plesk representative and in the context of the forum, you may not get an answer or the right answer as quickly as you might from Plesk directly. For the most part, the snarky or condescending attitudes in responses may not necessarily be intentional so don't let it be off-putting. Plesk and cPanel are both mature products with different strengths and communities supporting them (such as this one) beyond the official support channel.
