PHP handler not found.

Pablo_Medina

New Pleskian
Hello:

We're having an issue and couldn't find a proper way to solve it. Some time ago we've installed php 5.6 using the guide at: http://kb.odin.com/es/118378.

This worked great for us. Lately, a new version of php 5.6.16 was installed by Plesk, so we decided to remove ours.

Our current list of registered handlers is:

/usr/local/psa/bin/php_handler --list
id: display name: full version: version: type: cgi-bin: php-cli: php.ini: custom: status:
cgi 5.4.45 by OS vendor 5.4.45 5.4 cgi /usr/bin/php-cgi /usr/bin/php /etc/php.ini false enabled
fastcgi 5.4.45 by OS vendor 5.4.45 5.4 fastcgi /usr/bin/php-cgi /usr/bin/php /etc/php.ini false enabled
module 5.4.45 by OS vendor 5.4.45 5.4 module /usr/bin/php-cgi /usr/bin/php /etc/php.ini false enabled
php56 php-5.6.14 5.6.14 5.6 fastcgi /opt/php5.6.14/bin/php-cgi /opt/php5.6.14/etc/php.ini true broken
plesk-php54-cgi 5.4.45 5.4.45 5.4 cgi /opt/plesk/php/5.4/bin/php-cgi /opt/plesk/php/5.4/bin/php /opt/plesk/php/5.4/etc/php.ini true enabled
plesk-php54-fastcgi 5.4.45 5.4.45 5.4 fastcgi /opt/plesk/php/5.4/bin/php-cgi /opt/plesk/php/5.4/bin/php /opt/plesk/php/5.4/etc/php.ini true enabled
plesk-php54-fpm 5.4.45 5.4.45 5.4 fpm /opt/plesk/php/5.4/sbin/php-fpm /opt/plesk/php/5.4/bin/php /opt/plesk/php/5.4/etc/php.ini true enabled
plesk-php56-cgi 5.6.16 5.6.16 5.6 cgi /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php-cgi
/opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php /opt/plesk/php/5.6/etc/php.ini true enabled
plesk-php56-fastcgi 5.6.16 5.6.16 5.6 fastcgi /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php-cgi /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php /opt/plesk/php/5.6/etc/php.ini true enabled
plesk-php56-fpm 5.6.16 5.6.16 5.6 fpm /opt/plesk/php/5.6/sbin/php-fpm /opt/plesk/php/5.6/bin/php /opt/plesk/php/5.6/etc/php.ini true enabled

As you can see we have 5.6.14 (installed by us) on /opt/php5.6.14 with id "php56" and 5.6.16 installed by a Plesk update, with ids plesk-php56-cgi , plesk-php56-fastcgi & plesk-php56-fpm .

So we tried to remove our handler and received the following error:
The PHP handler "php56" is not found.

We have tried several times. At some point we tried /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/php_handlers_control --reread and the status of the handler changed to "broken"
We have tried php_handlers & php_handlers_control with all available parameters (disable, remove, reread) with & without quotes. and all the times received the same error

Any ideas what could be causing this? Is there a way to "force" the removal of this handler? Couldn't find any reference to the "broken" status.

Thanks in advance for your help.
