PHP Upgrade to 5.2.0

Hello,

I just tried to install Magento as a package from Plesk however it tells me I need PHP 5.2.0 I am currently running 5.1.6 and Plesk claims this to be up to date, OS is Centos 5 and it is a Virtuozzo container. Before I go command line and try a yum update for PHP anything I should know? Or is there an easier way of doing things?
