• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Issue Php upload permission problem

Balanca

New Pleskian
Hello,

I am new to Plesk and have a problem with permissions when uploading a file with PHP. PROBLEM: Directory is not writable (owner and group is www-data).
I copied all uploaded files from my old server to a new one with Plesk installed. If I give the directory 777 permissions then the file gets uploaded with owner "my domainuser" and group psacln. Since I don't want to have directories with 777 permissions and I would like the owner and group of the directories to stay www-data I am trying to find a way to be able to upload files.. But I can't seem to find a solution, can anyone help?

Thanks in advance
