Resolved php-version 7.2

itoop

New Pleskian
Hallo,

I use plesk version 17.8.11. I configured php-version 7.2.4, but a php -i in the bash shows version 7.0.28:

$ php -i
phpinfo()
PHP Version => 7.0.28-0ubuntu0.16.04.1

A software, which needs at least php version 7.1 shows with composer in the bash, that I'm using version 7.0.28, too.

What can I do? Thank you.

The shell uses the PHP version that comes with your operating system. You may need to upgrade that one.

Or, as an alternative to upgrading your OS PHP version, you can simply use the PHP interpreter that comes with Plesk:
/opt/plesk/php/7.2/bin/php (instead of the OS PHP in /usr/bin/php)

That won't work, because chrooted shell limits access to the user account. The path /opt/plesk is not within the user account.
