• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

On opening PHP settings, 7.4.33 is the only option.

Is there any timeline when PHP version will be updated for Web Admin Se Edition?

All Plesk versions support PHP up to 8.2. The different PHP versions can be configured by the "admin" of the server through Plesk updates/upgrades. It is a simple, straight-forward process. Just select the desired PHP version from the updates/upgrades page and install.

So do I need to go for paid Plesk version? Right now, under free Plesk Web Admin edition.

You need to be "admin". Are you logged in as "admin"? Then click on "Add or Remove Components" on the dashboard to add more PHP versions.

Thanks for the support. I have updated with the latest version. Clicking then Add/Remove Components leads to this message:

"You already have the latest version of product(s) and all the selected components installed. Installation will not continue."

If I try to update PHP version clicking Open PHP Settings, just getting option up to 7.4.33.

You'll need to go to the Add/Remove Components and install the latest version of PHP. It'll be under Web Hosting > PHP interpreter versions
