• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

PHP4 and PHP5 together?

PaulinoM

New Pleskian
Dear friends,

I cliente have an old application that require the PHP4 version (any version).

How can I install it to work together with my PHP 5.3.3 version?

The system is a CentOS 5.8 with Plesk 11.0.9 (#10)

Thank you!

By default it is impossible. Most probably it can be reached with some complex customization, but I'm not sure.

Plesk doesn’t ship client’s PHP, it only downloads it from original OS vendor repository.

Hi,

yes it is possible. but you have todo it yourself. i have done it sometime ago. just google it.

but for security reason i do not recommend you to use old versions.

cheers
