PHP5 with no GD support?

I recently upgraded to version 5.0.4 from ART's repository, and now I'm getting complaints that the GD libraries are not installed or available. This was functioning fine in php 4.4.1. Is there something I have to "turn on" to get it working again? I realize this might not be the right place to post this, but many people here have used the rpms from ART.

Any advice will be appreciated.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the rpm on ART's repo.
