  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Question phpmyadmin 5.0.2 and php 7.4

nicolas38

New Pleskian
Hello,

My configuration:

Server under php 7.4
debian 10

As a reminder, phpMyAdmin 4.9 is in the long term support phase where it will only receive important security patches.
Users are encouraged to migrate to version 5.0 (phpmyadmin message).

My server is running PHP 7.4 and I see that phpmyadmin by default in plesk is running PHP 7.3.22.

Is there a solution to pass phpmyadmin in PHP 7.4
I have been looking for several days.

Thank you for your help

Sorry, but no.

If you wish to have a customized phpMyAdmin installation (including any supported PHP version), you are free to install it manually on a domain. However, among other things you'll loose functionality of automatic login from Plesk.
