• Halloween is coming! To celebrate the occasion, we dusted off a couple of old skins, and even created a brand new one (Pixel).
To get into the festive spirit, install the Skins extension.
  • The new Python extension is now available. It allows customers to deploy and manage WSGI-based Python applications on their websites directly from Plesk.
  • The Plesk Mobile apps for iOS and Android and the Plesk Mobile Center extension have been deprecated, and are no longer available for new installations. In Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84, the Plesk Mobile Center extension will be removed from servers during the upgrade, and the Plesk Mobile apps will lose their server management features.
  • The Social Login extension has been deprecated and will be removed in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.84. After that, it will no longer be possible to log in to Plesk with a Google, Facebook, GitHub account, or with a passkey. Plesk usernames and passwords, as well as logging in with a WebPros Account, are not affected.

Could anybody tell me why phpMyAdmin is not available under the database webadmin tab. When I click the webadmin icon I do not get any phpMyAdmin interface or anything else but get the same listing of the databases.

I checked and found that phpMyAdmin is installed in the server in usr/local/psa/admin/domains/databaes/phpmyadmin folder. I am puzzled though why it is not avaialble via the PLESK interface.

Please help.

That is the copy which Plesk installs for it's own use. If you wish to have access to phpMyAdmin, you need to download and install a separate copy into your domain's docroot somewhere. I would recommend you password protect the directory, and do not use their default directory name so script kiddies won't easily find it...

Thanks. I did that and I can access phpMyAdmin for the particular vhost. But it appears that I have to install phpMyAdmin in every vhost's docroot., which is going to be a lot of work. Is there a way I can install phpMyAdmin in a way that just one installation can be accessed by all the vhosts.

Not unless you want all of the clients to be able to access ALL databases on the server. For security reasons, you would be better to only install it on an 'as needed' basis and make sure it's configured for the domain user's name and password to limit their access to only their own databases.
