On Plesk for Linux mod_status is disabled on upgrades to improve Apache security. This is a one-time operation that occurs during an upgrade. You can manually enable mod_status later if needed.
The solution of replacing the qmail-remote file does not work well since micro updates will repeatedly replace it and break your install again. We've already run into this problem with custom fixes the support team have had to produce after we have found bugs and the fixes are being replaced constantly by the micro updates.
Guys, we have a patch for fixing initial issue which will be included to MU. But this patch in testing stage now and we would like to test it before releasing MU. If you would like to be a volunteer - contact me in PM with your Plesk version, OS version and x32 / x64 platform.
But note - it is beta patch!
There's no stable patch that's been released by parallels yet, unless you're running Parallels Plesk 11.0.9 MU#7. Otherwise, your best bet is to employ this workaround and wait for the patch to be released.
If you're concerned about customers running plesk updates after patching (thereby erasing the manual patch), then switch them to postfix after the qmail queue finishes draining. You can always switch them back to qmail after the patch has been released.
