Plesk 10.4 Email trouble

Hi,
first of all, I'm a complete newbie to virtual servers and plesk, but have managed to setup 50 domains and it works so far.
Now, i pretty much left everything as default, went to add emails, just by clicking parallels mail tab then "create email adress". There i created one mail with a mailbox, and 49 as forwarders to a gmail account.
For some reason none of the forward mails ever get sent out. And the mailbox mail doesn't seem to arrive nowhere when I send a test message from some other mail account.
I've checked the plesk-server-mail-mail settings, but can't figure out if there is something wrong.
I'm sure the problem is something simple, but since I'm new this is like nuclear science to me.

First of all try to find a reason in main Plesk maillog /usr/local/psa/var/log/maillog

Looks like problems with incorrect permissions. Did you change it somewhere?
The easiest way is switching MTA to Qmail and then back to Postfix. It should help. Details in KB.

thanks for your reply,
I havent changed anything on the server. I talked with 1&1, they told me that parallels plesk 10.4 on virtual servers doesn't install qmail to save disk space.
Could that be the key?
I downloaded qmail and the 10.3 patch, but have no idea on how to upload it since in ftp i can't see the /etc/dev.d/ folder, where it should go i assume.

How would I go about switching MTA to Qmail and back to posttfix? What is KB?

Ok, I was able to install qmail service on plesk, now I can send emails without getting the error: Service not available, but, still, the messages do not get delivered, and when sending mails to the server they never arrive either.What could be the reason?

Ok, I finally was able to find out what was going wrong, or better said, found out to fix the problem...
Using putty i had to to the following...
1º /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --install --name=horde
2º /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/webmailmng --enable --name=horde
3º /usr/local/psa/admin/sbin/httpdmng --reconfigure-all
the last one took quite some time, but then the emails to the main mailbox and to all the forwarding emails worked fine, sending and receiving 5/5
