• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 11 - Memcache - libssl update ?

New Pleskian
Hello.

I'm running a server running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 Bits with plesk 11.09

I would like to install memcache

I did follow this tutorial : https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-install-and-use-memcache-on-ubuntu-12-04

I'm blocking on installing php-pear
I made a simulation on the installation, and i saw that it will update two packages :

Inst libssl1.0.0 [1.0.1-4ubuntu5.5] (1.0.1-4ubuntu5.8 Ubuntu:12.04/precise-updates [amd64]) [libssl1.0.0:amd64 on libssl1.0.0:i386] [libssl1.0.0:i386 on libssl1.0.0:amd64] [libssl1.0.0:i386 ]
Inst libssl1.0.0:i386 [1.0.1-4ubuntu5.5] (1.0.1-4ubuntu5.8 Ubuntu:12.04/precise-updates [i386])
Conf libssl1.0.0 (1.0.1-4ubuntu5.8 Ubuntu:12.04/precise-updates [amd64])
Conf libssl1.0.0:i386 (1.0.1-4ubuntu5.8 Ubuntu:12.04/precise-updates [i386]

Can i make the installation, and the two updates, without breaking my plesk installation ?

Is there another way, installing memcache, for my server (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS 64 Bits with plesk 11.09) ?

Thanks for reading and helping me
