Please write in this sticky thread all problems with your Plesk servers which arose after applying this microupdate. And please be absolutely sure that reported problem is really caused by this microupdate!

Postfix smtp error.
Since the update I cannot connect to the smtp server from either my mail client or webmail.
This has happened before & is something to do with a file name (in postfix I think) not updating during the upgrade but I cannot remember which one.

Are you sure that postfix is up and running at least? Have you tried restart postfix service? Any errors?

Yes it's up & I have restarted the service & server.
Get this warning in the maillog:
warning: SASL authentication failure: cannot connect to saslauthd server: No such file or directory
but from previous experience I know that all I need to do is change a file name that didn't update correctly but stupidly didn't take a note of which one.

Get this error from round cube:
An error occurred!
SMTP Error (535): Authentication failed.

What about

# /etc/init.d/saslauthd restart
# /etc/init.d/saslauthd status

Restarted service & status is running but still cannot connect

What is output of commands:

# grep "smtp_bind_address" /etc/postfix/master.cf
# postmap -s /var/spool/postfix/plesk/sdd_transport_maps | head

Have you tried fix it with running mchk utility?

Re-installed Postfix & that resolved the problem
