Hello there
The ffmpeg installation information for the centos in the forum is available.
Can you share setup information for ubuntu 16.04 ?

Instruction is the same. Just install all required packages with apt-get Ubuntu package manager instead of yum Centos package manager. Name of packages can be different too. Just find the correct names for Ubuntu.
