Plesk 7.0 for Windows PowerPack - Some Features Disabled

    Help Reqd: Plesk 7.0 for Windows PowerPack - Some Features Disabled

    Could any techies here in this forum- please help why some of the features in Plesk 7 for Windows (PowePack) are diabled.

    Following components are Missing!

    * Multi-Level HelpDesk - Not Available in Admin Control Panel to configure

    * Application Pack w/ Site Builder Software - Disabled in Admin Control Panel

    * SpamAssassin Anti-SPAM Software - Disabled in Admin Control Panel

    * TomCat Server Missing

    if you put the mouse pointer over the disabled icon it usually says why, also check the key stats to verify your key really is valid for them

    once i got the same issue too. Then I gave order to my server provider to install them.They done it. It seems that they forgot to install

    i have my server in 'the planet' i raised a ticket and they did reinstall also they say that it is powerpack.? how to handle or rectify this!

    thanks, yes i did mouse over inside the "key info" tab, it looks like they don't have license - i will check with them again.

    I logged in as ADMIN user and following are noticed

    "Key info" screen shows

    Ability to use ColdFusion Off
    Ability to use Application Vault Off
    Ability to use SpamAssassin Off
    Ability to use DrWeb Off
    Ability to use Site Builder Off
    Ability to use the Help Desk system Off

    "service management" screen all 3 buttons disabled for

    Tomcat
    Microsoft SQL server
    ColdFusion
    Dr.Web
    ClamAV antivirus

    Is that because of licensing problem ??? please clarify!

    Yes. You will need to get your license key updated to unlock those features even if you have them installed on the server.

    Thanks for the support - Plesk 7 PowerPack is now fully functional.

    I need further help – techies please help resolving following issue.

    When I register my first domain "mydomain.com" I am getting mail from plesk with subject "<mydomain.client.theplanet.com> Notification of the client..."

    *theplanet.com is my datacenter where my server resides.
    *mydomain.com is going be hosting service provider & first domain in Plesk.

    Being HSP I need complete anonymity,

    Please suggest what I need to do further. Is there anything missing in DNS configuration.

    How do I resolve this?

    For all my customers I need point them to mydomain.com and set my name servers only.

    Following the mail message for both client and domain creation:

    Client Creation Mail:

    Subject: <mydomain.client.theplanet.com> Notification of the client creation.

    A new client account has been created in Plesk.
    Client's contact name: xxxxxxxxx
    Client's login: xxxxxxxxx
    Client's password: xxxxxxxxx

    Plesk entry point:
    "https://mydomain.client.theplanet.com:8443"

    Similarly

    Domain Creation Mail:

    <mydomain.client.theplanet.com> Notification of the domain creation.

    A new domain has been created in Plesk.
    Domain name: xxxxxxxxx
    Client owner: xxxxxxxxx
    Domain IP: xxxxxxxxx exclusive

    Same thing may appear for my customers also! How do I resolve this? Is that my DNS configuration is incomplete if yes how I do this in Plesk! (DNS zone template???)

    Please help!
