• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 7.5 reloaded and FreeBSD

I wonder if anyone can advise how we should proceed under the following rather weird set of circumstances:
1. Plesk (7.5r/l) won't install on FreeBSD 6.x because of driver issues (Dell Poweredge, not Plesk problem)

2. Plesk installer won't run on FreeBSD 5.4 - period.

3. FreeBSD 5.3 is old and not available any longer as an iso.

4. Which leaves us with
old 4.x series, not a good idea for a variety of reasons.

You could say "don't use FreeBSD" that's true, but we would prefere to do so if at all possible because of its known stability and security.

Any/All guidance, suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Regards.
