After upgrading to Plesk 8.1.1 from 7.6.1 we have been experiencing a lot of problmes. When trying to use the search function on the desktop it gives an error :

The operation you were performing failed. You can retry the operation with or without changing its parameters. You may also want to report this problem to our support so that we could help you as soon as possible.

Does anyone have some davice as how to fix this?

It seems Plesk update did not complete fully. Please check
D:\Program Files\SWsoft\Plesk\admin\plib\uipointer_list.php

If it differs from attached one (it's the original file of Plesk8.1.1), replace the file on the server with attached one.

Where is the attached one? Or where can I get it?

Hm, attached file exceeds allowed attachment size 102400 bytes. You can try to rename the file uipointer_list.php and run Plesk Repair via Add/Remove programs > Plesk > Change > Repair.
It should recover the original one.
