Plesk 8.4 Backup Failures

Hello All, Maybe you guys have some suggestions on how to fix this. I have just recently performed a fresh install of plesk 8.4 on Debian Etch 4.0. After the installation I receive the following error when running a backup either local or to my NAS.

Error: Unable to create backup session: Specified file is not accessible

All of my plesk packages are up to date and this install is pretty vanilla. Also, if you are not sure how to fix this, how do I do manual backups in shell that will backup account settings as well as domains?
