• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • Our UX team believes in the in the power of direct feedback and would like to invite you to participate in interviews, tests, and surveys.
To stay in the loop and never miss an opportunity to share your thoughts, please subscribe to our UX research program. If you were previously part of the Plesk UX research program, please re-subscribe to continue receiving our invitations.

Plesk 8.6 is loading very very slowly

I am using ResellerZoom's Wndows reseller hosting.

The servers had Plesk 8.3 which was extremely slow in loading.

They upgraded it to Plesk 8.6 and it is still extremely slow.

What's wrong with Plesk? Why is it loading so slowly? Or does the problem lie with resellerzoom's server?

My guess is that you're having a problem with ResellersZoom.

This is the last response I got from ResellerZoom. They are saying everything is fine at their end. I too have tried from different locations, different machines, different ISPs. It loads slowly from all places that I tried.

The Plesk control Panel is loading fine from our end. We have checked the the loading time of the control panel from different locations through the proxy site "alertra.com' . We are pasting the results below.

If you're still having problems, there's a bug in plesk that can slow it down a lot where Plesk/Apache don't clear out their sessions. To fix this, you have to clear out all of the sessions files in the plesk folder (do a search for folders starting with "Session") and you'll need to clear out the plesk Session table as well.

...

OMG, you really spammed all threads regarding to Plesk CP slowness with this, including even this Linux one :)

I'm sorry, but this sounds like a nana-nunu stuff for me, not a real solution.
