• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk 9.3.0 API RPC XML Response Problem

I am able to submit an XML packet to the control agent seemingly correctly, I notice in the admin GUI that a session is created, so it appears to be accepting the packet correctly.

However, I am unable to determine anything further because the HTTP response packet is the default HTML login page. The only time I am able to receive anything different is if I submit an empty packet (no headers or anything) which returns an (expected) error XML packet (1003 Wrong request).

I have only found one other post regarding the same issue which was posted way back in 2007. It was resolved by upgrading the entire Plesk panel software. However the project I am doing is for a client, and I am unable to do use that resolution.
