• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk CF DSN XML Error

Brandon Minor

New Pleskian
I tried creating a new DSN for CF today with Plesk 10.3.1 and CF 9.0.1. I get an XML error: "Can not create 'indDSN' DSN: XML Document must have top level element. at load xml in line 0" Anyone have any idea what this could be? This is on Windows Server 2003 R2 with IIS 6.0.

Make sure that cf_fun.cfm or any other files are not missed in C:\inetpub\vhosts\default\htdocs\CFIDE. Check that they are exists in C:\inetpub\vhosts\default\htdocs\ and copy if necessary. Also check that Coldfusion is correctly configured in IIS.

Igor, I reinstalled MSXML 6.0 SP2 and that solved the problem. I guess the XML parser got an update and became corrupt. Everything in Plesk 10.3.1 works as it should. Thanks again.
