Hi... just wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I'm having updating the Component in plesk.

After centos 8 came to its end of life, I updated my server to AlmaLinux 8.5 (Arctic Sphynx) as a few others suggested. This allowed me to resume with updates.

unfortunately, I'm having trouble updating again. screenshots below. Seems to be a repository issue / Yum issue.

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

found a solution

installed these here then ran the plesk updater

Here is a quick howto upgrade default PHP version provided on Fedora, RHEL, CentOS, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux or other clones with latest version 8.0. You can also follow the Wizard

You should have installed the correct epel repo:

# dnf install epel-release
