Ensim 3.6

Hi, i think the most of us that are trying to migrate from ensim to plesk, did not upgraded to 4.0 version of ensim, thats why we decided to switch to plesk...

I think it will be most important, for swsoft and their clients, to allow migration from ensim 3.6 to plesk 7.5.6

Do you think it would be possible?

Hello,
I am sure, It is possible.
If you want to migrate, please contact support or me.

We're thinking of switching from Helm to Plesk but not really wanting to migrate as it's an incomplete migration and we'd prefer to do this manually.

What's stopping us at the moment is that according to pre-sales Plesk should be installed on a clean win 2003 server, whereas we'd really like to try and get it on existing servers.

Is the migration program complete, or are more features planned to implement a possible full migration from Helm 3.9 to Plesk?

Hello,
Plesk installer has module for inplace migration from Helm. Please read this document http://download1.swsoft.com/Plesk/Plesk7.5/Windows/Docs/plesk-7.5-win-helm-migration/ .
On the other hand, you can use PMM for migration form Helm 3.2.9. This is remote migration. I think, it will do your work good because you will have old server with Helm (with all data) and new server with Plesk with all migrated from Helm data. When you check all of you migrated data you might turn off old server.
Thanks.

Thanks for this information - gave it a try with Helm 3.2.9 and the migration wasn't bad.

Tried it yesterday with Helm 3.2.10 and it wasn't so good.

Plesk just seems to want to do so much by itself and why it's stoing it's own data in a mysql database is a mystery.

Now got most of one server migrate but php is still causing problems. Terrified to upgrade it to be honest as Plesk seems to be working when it wants to and stops when it doesn't feel like it.

Helm 3.2.10 has just been released. PMM will support this version ASAP.
Thanks.
