Question Plesk Migration – Webmail Signatures and Contacts Missing

TorbHo

Regular Pleskian
Server operating system version
Ubuntu 24 LTS
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.75
We recently migrated a Plesk server to a new environment via Plesk Migrator Extension. The migration itself was successful — mailboxes and emails have been successfully transferred.

However, after the migration, Roundcube signatures, identities, and personal address books were not transferred.

Is this expected behavior during a Plesk migration? Are Roundcube user settings not included by default, and is there a way to migrate them afterward?

Thanks in advance!

Yes. See here, here and here (the docs only mention the limitation for backup restoration, but the limitation applies to migrations too).

The Plesk support article (first link) describes how to manually export contact manually for each mailbox separately. But I you have many mailboxes this can be a tedious and time consuming task. This forum thread describes how manually export and import the roundcube database, which is faster if you have many mailboxes. (Use at your own risk).
