• Hi, Pleskians! We are running a UX testing of our upcoming product intended for server management and monitoring.
We would like to invite you to have a call with us and have some fun checking our prototype. The agenda is pretty simple - we bring new design and some scenarios that you need to walk through and succeed. We will be watching and taking insights for further development of the design.
If you would like to participate, please use this link to book a meeting. We will sent the link to the clickable prototype at the meeting.
  • (Plesk for Windows):
MySQL Connector/ODBC 3.51, 5.1, and 5.3 are no longer shipped with Plesk because they have reached end of life. MariaDB Connector/ODBC 64-bit 3.2.4 is now used instead.
  • The Horde webmail has been deprecated. Its complete removal is scheduled for April 2025. For details and recommended actions, see the Feature and Deprecation Plan.

Question plesk migrator estension

webstudio19

New Pleskian
Server operating system version
centos 7.9
Plesk version and microupdate number
18.0.47
Hi, I read some posts on the topic but having little experience I wasn't able to get a sure answer to my question even though it is very simple and clear.

Using the Plesk migrator extension, can I import subscriptions and domains from my Plesk backup if, for example, I have data loss problems following maintenance?
Thank you

You can use the backup manager for that purpose, by recovering a backup from a different server. The migrator extension can only be used to import existing subscriptions (and users).

The migrator allows you to migrate Service Plans, Resellers, Customers and Subscriptions. These include all associated domains. There is no option to migrate Individual domains.

With the backup manager, you can recover individual domains (as well as Subscriptions, Customers, Resellers, ect).

ok thanks
I'm sorry but given the translation I want to ask my first question
I don't have to migrate from server 1 to server 2.. but I was wondering if I can import from a plesk global backup after a possible data loss

I hope this detail was clear from the beginning of the post

A thousand thanks

in any case, as we delve deeper into the topic, another question arises

Is the backup from Plesk 18.0.47 importable into a Plesk version 18.0.61?
