  • The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Resolved Plesk panel ssl cert

phil.cisuna

New Pleskian
hi,

three days ago my cert from startcom for panel.domain.tdl expired. i did not renew it, because i changed the default plesk cert to a lets encrypt cert already (Settings>SSL/TSL Certs>Secure Plesk with XXX Cert).

Problem: this certificate to secure plesk is not in use at the moment. still the old expired one is used.
on onyx release i upgraded from 12.5.
i also changed the default plesk cert to the lets encrypt cert for the panel domain.

any idea's?

thanks

Please make sure that old certificate is still assigned to you domain with

# plesk bin certificate -l -domain panel.domain.tdl

After that try to remove it with

# plesk bin certificate -r <cert_name>

Then protect this panel.domain.tdl domain with LE certificate with help of Security Advisor Extension, for example.

Thanks.

Resolved the problem.
I changed the cert file path in /etc/sw-cp-server/conf.d/plesk.conf a year ago.
