We had a problem where we had to roll back PHP. However, during a yum uninstall step, Plesk (10.4.4) was uninstalled too. The websites associated with it are still up but we want Plesk back.
I haven't run "yum install psa" as yet (since uninstalling), for fear of disrupting the existing configuration.
Looking around, the Plesk installation process says to uninstall existing versions of Apache and MySQL. Is it possible to reinstall Plesk without doing this? My intention is to reinstall without taking down the existing sites. The psa DB is still there.
I do not, however, want to install PHP later than 5.3.
I found the Windows method (http://kb.parallels.com/532) but when I copied and pasted the title into the search to find the Linux equivalent, I got 0 articles (which is odd, as I would have at least expected the same article to appear).
