Plesk/Smartermail reports different mailbox count

I have a Plesk 8.1.1 server with Smartermail 4.1.2634 which I am migrating to a new Plesk 9.2.x box. The issue that I am having is that the number of mailboxes which Plesk is reporting is not the same number of mailboxes which Smartermail has. The difference in mailboxes is at least 20. How can I get Plesk to report (and "see") the same amount of mailboxes which Smartermail has?
