• Debian 11 is approaching its end-of-life (vendor EOL date - August 31, 2026). Plesk Obsidian 18.0.80 will be the last release to support it.
If you are running Plesk Obsidian on Debian 11, we recommend you upgrade those servers to Debian 12 using our dist-upgrade tool.
  • We plan to deprecate and remove the support for XML RPC protocol versions earlier than 1.6.9.1 in Plesk Obsidian 18.0.82. We strongly recommend that you update all existing integrations using earlier versions of the XML RPC protocol to comply with the version 1.6.9.1 specification.

Plesk, Tomcat, Java-based CMS intergration problems

I have server that is running plesk 8.1.1. I also have a Java based content management system which I want to use to create my websites. The problem is that the CMS is an *.exe instillation that also installs its tomcat server, although a bit older.

Unfortunately the application does not allow me to specify where I choose to install the tomcat or if whether I can use a currently existing tomcat server.

Is there any way to have plesk intergrate with a tomcat server installed somewhere else by another application. Or even have the version of tomcat that plesk has to upgrade the older version of the tomcat that my CMS uses.
