• The BIND DNS server has already been deprecated and removed from Plesk for Windows.
If a Plesk for Windows server is still using BIND, the upgrade to Plesk Obsidian 18.0.70 will be unavailable until the administrator switches the DNS server to Microsoft DNS. We strongly recommend transitioning to Microsoft DNS within the next 6 weeks, before the Plesk 18.0.70 release.
  • The Horde component is removed from Plesk Installer. We recommend switching to another webmail software supported in Plesk.

Whether I load the Plesk 8.2 Updater manually in the Start Menu or load the HTTP Plesk Control Panel, I always get the access denied error. It doesn't matter if I right click the update tool in the Start menu and try to load it without restrictions as the administrator, it will still do the same. Any suggestions?

Apparently the user psaserv did not have access to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Crypto and after adding the user it looks like its working.

I know this post is old but, I am having the same error on a dedicated server (Godaddy). It's never worked actually, but I've never complained-- however it's getting on my nerves now. I did what you suggested fixed it, but it didn't. Any other help that you can lend would be great.

Matt
